The weather does change the condition of your skin (no matter if you like it a not). Your skin could be a normal skin type during springtime, it could be a sensitive skin type during summer, or it could be dry skin type during the winter season.

What is Facial Soap?

Facial soaps are designed to be extra gentler on delicate skin found on our faces. They’re usually lower in coconut oil or other highly cleansing oils (such as Babassu or Palm kernel oil) than regular soap recipes, as this is to avoid stripping the skin of natural moisture.

These facial soaps are specifically customized and designed with more luxury oils such as Argan, Safflower, and Tamanu Oils, as all these oils have higher beneficial oleic and linoleic acids in them to help keep moist.

Facial soaps are designed to avoid irritation and possible allergic reaction, they will avoid using mica or synthetic colors or fragrances.

How to use Facial Soap?

To use the facial soap, gently wet your face and the bar of soap with mildly warm water. Create a light lather in the palm of your hands and gently rub the lather over the skin of your face. Follow up with a moisturizer suitable for your skin type.

Your skin is neither too oily nor too dry. Go for handmade soap that consists of Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Sunflower Oil, Argan Oil, Hempseed Oil, Olive Oil, and Safflower Oil. Choosing the wrong soap may cause your skin to be drier or oilier. It is important to find a customized soap that is gentle and maintains the PH level of your skin. Do consider herbal soap as well.

Look for soap that has Tea Tree Essential Oil, Aloe Vera, Oatmeal Powder, etc. Handmade soap oil ingredients that target acne-prone, red, and inflamed skin are Coconut Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, Walnut Oil, Sunflower Oil, and Safflower Oil. If that soap has salicylic acid or Benzoyl Peroxide would also be a great option as a facial soap.
