Orange essential oil has two fragrances—sweet, which aptly has a sweet citrus fragrance, and bitter, which is much less popular and has a sharper aroma. If you have children and want to diffuse essential oil in your home, this is a good choice. Yellowish orange in color and with a thin consistency, this essential oil is typically cold-pressed. When used in aromatherapy, it is considered a top note.
